Booking Policies

Your booking is confirmed once a signed contract and the required 50% non-refundable booking retainer have been received.
Until both the signed contract and retainer have been received, your requested date(s) remain available for other bookings.
All bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Any changes to your booking, including services, event dates, ready times, or locations, must be requested in writing.
Additional travel, early morning, waiting time, or service fees may apply if changes affect the original schedule.
Once the contract has been signed, services cannot be removed from the booking. Additional services may be added subject to availability.

Your ready time is the time you need to be completely finished and dressed.
Service start times are scheduled by Bridal by Mika based on the services booked and your requested ready time.
Delays caused by the client or bridal party may reduce the time available for services. Bridal by Mika cannot guarantee the originally agreed look if the schedule is shortened due to late arrivals or interruptions.
Waiting time beyond the scheduled start may incur additional charges.

Every effort will be made to achieve your desired look. However, Bridal by Mika reserves artistic discretion to adapt techniques, products, and styling based on skin type, hair texture, facial features, weather conditions, and service longevity to ensure the most beautiful and long-lasting result.

Rental hair extensions remain the property of Bridal by Mika.
A $200 refundable security deposit is required for all rental hair extensions.
The deposit will be refunded once the extensions are returned within 5 days of the event in their original condition.
Late returns, missing items, or damage beyond normal wear may result in part or all of the deposit being forfeited. Additional replacement charges may apply where necessary.

A bridal trial includes one complete makeup and hair look.
Significant changes or additional looks requested during the appointment may require additional time and will be charged accordingly.
Trial appointments are payable in full on the day of the appointment.

A clean, indoor getting-ready space with adequate room to work, access to an empty table or countertop, and nearby electrical outlets must be provided.
Bridal by Mika reserves the right to decline working in unsuitable environments that may affect the quality or safety of the services.

Any parking, valet, toll, or venue access fees incurred on the event day are the responsibility of the client.

All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to the event via e-transfer or in cash on the event day if Mikka is personally providing your services.
If Mikka is not present on the event day, the remaining balance must be received via e-transfer at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
The individual signing this contract is responsible for all payments relating to the booking, including any approved additions or changes.

Bridal by Mika may photograph completed work for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.

The preparation guidelines provided prior to your event form part of this agreement.
Failure to follow these instructions may affect the final result and longevity of the services provided.

All booking retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Requests to reschedule are subject to availability and current published pricing.
If Bridal by Mika is unable to fulfill the booking due to illness or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a replacement artist of comparable experience.
If a suitable replacement cannot be secured, all monies paid will be refunded in full.

Clients are responsible for informing Bridal by Mika of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns prior to the appointment.
Bridal by Mika is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities to products used where such information has not been disclosed.
